Even in a midsize city (Richmond VA) the appeal of walkability has suddenly vanished with culture disappearing. Why pay double for rent what I’d pay in Arizona, which has a much better climate than Virginia let alone than New York? I’m actually taking it a step further and moving to the beach in Mexico.
