Great talk during Momentum 2021! It's helped my motivation about my current career as a writer that I've tried so many other things in the last year (extra on TV, web developer, web dev. bootcamp instructor, contract technical writer, live streamer about programming, therapeutic massage therapist, and PT at an occupational injury clinic) and found what I don't like about each of those opportunities. Ultimately, I think I have the best judgment about what I want to do -- without needing to manage the emotions of others during the process -- so solo writing is a great choice for me. Cheers!
