Hey Glenn! What you said is a little offensive, and executives are famous for making 3-5x or more than developers while contributing literally nothing besides impossible, arbitrary deadlines and "pressure from the top."
Especially for those of us like myself who are neurodiverse with impulse control problems (ADHD) or not-making-the-right-face problems. (autism) then it's not about professionalism -- it's about the executives and middle management who don't contribute to the work in any meaningful way constantly living in a delusion fantasy line full of arbitrary deadlines not grounded in reality.
You're completely wrong that someone who is rolling their eyes at yet another impossible request from management is an entitled child, but if you disagree please block me and go away.
