Hey John Nielson thanks so much for your thoughtful response!! That sounds like quite the spreadsheet for your initial job hunt. I definitely know what you mean about distractions and focus, especially when it comes down to the trade-offs between sending out 10 crappy, form letter applications or 1 really good one.

It’s especially hard to find that balance when I know most of the “really good” applications I put in are getting trashed for 0 years experience or a lacking portfolio.

I think the trick in our modern, personal-brand-focused economy is having a personal website or online presence that really impresses.
