Yeah, when I was paying $120,000 over 3 years for my doctorate of physical therapy, I had to own a car and commute to attend unpaid internships, and upon graduation there wasn't any work for physical therapists in my area that didn't require a car, even though salaries were in the $60,000-$90,000 range. It's hard, even with cheap cars, to make that make sense financially!
