Hi TOC! I’m relatively new to learning “modern Javascript 2019” so I’ve been doing a lot of reading. I found Code Sandbox and was using it, but I also saw a number of examples using Code Pen, so I wasn’t sure the difference. Thank you so much for explaining it to me in detail! I’m not sure if CodeSandbox has a great community (although the “Explore” section of featured sandboxes is cool), but they definitely have a lot of active development on their GitHub, so that’s cool.
My favorite part about CodeSandbox for my technical blog is the embed in Medium articles feature, but CodePen obviously has that as well.

Nice chatting with you! I have another question, more philosophical. Do you think a tool like Code Pen or Code Sandbox could replace the installable text editor in the future? I see it as a possibility, with the IDE moving to the cloud!
