Hmm? I'm not sure why being slow at art is considered such a badge of honor. I've been working to improve my writing speed for a long time, and now I consistently write 6,000 or more words a day. Improving my writing speed has significantly improved my writing more than anything else, because it's given me more opportunities to try different things and see how they work out. And all artists throughout history have been motivated by a commercial motive. Weird take, but it's a common belief that sweating over perfecting a work until your savings runs out is somehow better than being able to afford to live. Thanks for sharing, Jelly!
