I can relate! My last employer told me when I quit the other staff didn’t have trouble completing documentation on time, so I must not be capable. I laughed because I was PRN and filling in for a PT who hadn’t finished half the notes for the patients I was seeing that day. They had scheduled 3x patients per hour and gave me 5 walk-in evaluations by lunch time — when I had already told them I wasn’t going to fill in again unless they managed the schedule. Honestly, it’s sad that a manager would honestly believe that hourly employees (illegally) not reporting documentation time represents the reality. Especially for PRN staff, who have neither familiarity nor rapport with the patients.
