I once failed the restaurant date by being autistic. I have a deep voice that gets louder when I'm excited, and the dude next to us complained I was too loud. Yeah, first of many people to complain about something I genuinely can't change or self-regulate, and far from the last. But the girlfriend didn't tell me I failed that date for literally years. That was pretty awkward.
