I think ultimately you have the right idea, though, in not focusing on YouTube. Not to be gendered or sexist, but male trainers are never going to compete with female trainers on YouTube or Instagram, especially without resulting to clickbait. But there’s still a big desire for real information, like you provide.

Thibs has a great article about “adrenal fatigue” in terms of neurotransmitters that ties in nicely with neurotyping.

I’ve heard Thibs on some podcasts where he talks about his most-recent understanding of neurotyping (more recent than T-nation) along with some personal anecdotes that have helped me understand what he means and the validity of the system a lot.

I think personality is a lot more “fixed” than body type for sure, and it makes sense that it’s related to neurotransmitters. Of course, there’s variability, particularly because stress changes neurotransmitters. So I think that’s part of what makes the neurotyping seem a little too “one-size-fits-all” — people can do the “wrong” thing and still see results, particularly if they are not under a lot of stress. Conversely someone under a lot of stress (like me when I used to drink a lot of coffee) could be doing the “right” thing and see no results.
