I wish this were the experience working in healthcare as a physical therapist, where it was 10% unexpected breaks with nothing to do, 20% dealing with rude and unpleasant patients, 30% trying to juggle 3+ concurrent patients every hour, and 40% staying 1-3 hours late every day to do documentation.

In comparison, going to an office to perform fake work with a higher salary and fixed 9-5 schedule seems way better. But I would never do it again, since even remote 9-5 jobs as a software engineer required unpaid overtime and suffering verbal abuse at the hands of non-technical staff who flatly refused to support the technical employees overwhelmed with an impossible workload.

I have no desire to ever to back to any of that bullshit.
