But A Medium Corp’s problem is that ythey’re not the least bit run like a Millenial company. They went the traditional corporate route, with traditional corporate pay structure, including when they staffed their publications.
Editors with “industry experience" and commensurate resumes demanded appropriate salaries and formalized business structures. It was doomed to be incompatible with Medium’s writers, whose entire resumes are limited to 160 characters of a profile bio.
