Nice article and I can relate. The other thing is that it’s been super hard to find a “real" job with appropriate hours if your chronotype is a wolf 🐺 like me and about 10–15% of people. Most every PT job I’ve had wanted 8–5, though 7–3 and even 6–3 are common. I naturally wake up at 11am and don’t start to have my normal personality until about 2pm, no matter how early I go to bed. So freelancing fits better.
