Nice piece! I enjoyed hearing about some concepts I wasn't familiar with before.

I'd comment that for further distribution on Medium, they tend to want really precise authorship attribution of the photos (and, more so, that you have permission to use them). So "from Amazon.com" or "Photo of _ (without stating the photographer and copyright) might be dealbreakers.

Also, the "right" topics are https://medium.com/topics so this one could have benefited from being listed in Books, for example. I've heard that in that category then quoting extensively from Books does well, but I've not read much in that topic.
