Really, you’ve heard a few years? I think the honeymoon phase always ends much more quickly than that. The most I’ve ever gotten is about a year.

As seen on the first chart, any relationship is likely to end around the 1–5 year mark, and it takes about 20+ years for companionate love to reach the levels previously associated with passionate love…
