Smaller PRs sound great! Unfortunately, even when asking my engineers to split off the majority of work, most PRs that take 1 day to work include at least 4 changed files and 30 atomic commits.

Also, smaller PRs wouldn't change the fact that I find a semantic commit message much more useful for code review and debugging than simply a ticket number. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
