I don't get the idea, because I've never experienced 1/10th of what you describe via text message... even though I have tons of internet friends and online language partners whom I find easy to talk to via instant messaging.

I'm glad there are people out there who do that for you!

Even with my actual partners I've never found that my conversation via text flows like honey, even when we have the best banter in person. I'd appreciate any tips you have here
