Thanks for your reply Jack Heimbigner. Personally I find traditional work culture rewards slackers, especially in healthcare. After all, if you get patients better, they stop being your patients, and your company loses money.
Iāve pretty much accepted Iāll never be the coworker everyone wants to work with ā Iām loud, opinionated, super smart, and focused on results.
Iām hoping thereās a remote work renaissance along the lines of the Results-Only Work Environment (ROWE) model:
I read the book and itās fantastic ā but also depressing given how far every āreal jobā Iāve ever had is from that work situation.
