That’s the hope. My Master’s (in Bioinformatics, Computer Science track) included courses in Java and lots of research. Very little of interest for the tools I wanted to use at the time (Ruby, Ruby on Rails, visualization).

So a Master’s in JavaScript sounds nice but barring that a FrontEndMasters subscription is probably better and cheaper. I’m amazed how much I can teach myself using Udemy, FEM, LearnReact.design, TylerMcginnis.com, etc.
