While I love the topic, I feel like you ultimately perpetuated the same false beliefs that are so limiting. If you’re anticipating a big return within 10 years, you’ll be crushed and disappointed if it doesn’t happen.

You have to get out to 20 year time frames for stocks to consistently beat bonds and 30 year time frames for stocks to consistently show a “good” return. Paul Merriman does a great job explaining why that means if you’re in your 20s the difference could be millions by the time you’re in your 60s. But in 10 years you may not see any return at all…
